The Vadsbo LD220WCM is a compact trailing-edge dimmer module that brings wireless Casambi lighting control to compatible mains-powered lamps and drivers. Once installed, connected lighting can be switched and dimmed through the free Casambi app on a compatible smartphone or tablet.

Designed for loads up to 200VA, the module is suitable for compatible 230V LED lamps, dimmable LED drivers, electronic transformers, incandescent lamps and mains-voltage halogen lamps. Its compact 52mm diameter housing is designed for concealed installation within a suitable electrical or device box.

A retractive push-button switch can also be connected for conventional wall control. Depending on the Casambi configuration, the switch can operate an individual fitting, a group of lights or programmed lighting scenes, allowing app-based smart control and familiar manual operation to work together.

Wireless Casambi lighting control

The LD220WCM communicates wirelessly using Bluetooth technology and becomes part of a Casambi mesh network. Compatible devices communicate with one another, helping create a flexible lighting-control system without requiring dedicated control wiring between every device.

Using the Casambi app, users can create groups and scenes, adjust brightness and configure timed operation. The astronomical clock function can also control lighting according to local sunrise and sunset times. Saved settings are held within the dimmer and can continue operating independently once configured.

Important installation information

The connected lamps or drivers must be suitable for trailing-edge dimming. LED compatibility and total load should be checked before installation, including any reactive or start-up load generated by the connected equipment.

This mains-voltage control module should be installed by a suitably qualified electrician in accordance with the supplied instructions and current wiring regulations. It is rated IP20 and must be housed in a suitable indoor enclosure.
