The Knightsbridge EMPOWER3 emergency LED downlight is a compact recessed fitting designed to provide illumination along exit routes when the mains power supply fails. Its discreet appearance makes it suitable for commercial, communal and public buildings where a less obtrusive alternative to a conventional emergency bulkhead is preferred.

The integrated 3W LED produces 120 lumens of 6000K daylight white light in emergency mode. A built-in rechargeable lithium battery provides up to three hours of emergency illumination.

Non-Maintained Emergency Operation

The EMPOWER3 is designed exclusively for non-maintained operation. The LED remains switched off while the normal mains supply is available and activates automatically following a power failure.

This makes it suitable for dedicated emergency lighting installations where continuous general illumination is not required. The positioning and quantity of emergency fittings should be determined by a competent person in accordance with the relevant emergency-lighting requirements.

Three Interchangeable Bezels Included

Aluminium, white and black bezels are all included with the downlight. This allows the visible finish to be selected during installation to coordinate with the ceiling or surrounding interior.

The finished downlight has a discreet 42mm diameter and projects just 2mm below the ceiling. A 34mm ceiling cut-out is required.
