This Sync Energy white internal EV circuit protection unit brings together a 100A main switch and 40A B-curve MCB with Type 2 surge protection. It provides a dedicated enclosure option for an installer specifying the supply to an EV charging point.

Choosing this product
The main switch provides local isolation and the MCB provides overcurrent protection. The Type 2 SPD addresses transient overvoltage. A main switch is not an RCD: residual-current protection must be considered elsewhere in the complete circuit design.
