The Knightsbridge HEXSCW4 Helix Shift is a robust 4ft LED non-corrosive fitting developed for demanding commercial and industrial environments. It combines four selectable wattages, three colour temperatures and a modular accessory system in one adaptable luminaire.

Select between 22W, 27W, 33W or 39W to achieve the required brightness. The colour temperature can also be adjusted between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 5700K daylight white, reducing the need to stock multiple versions for different projects.

At its maximum 39W setting, the fitting produces up to 5,825 lumens at 4000K. Its opal diffuser and wide 120° beam provide broad, evenly distributed illumination across working areas, walkways and storage spaces.

Four Wattages and Three Colour Temperatures

The selectable settings allow the output and light appearance to be configured during installation:

• 22W: up to 3,380 lumens at 4000K
• 27W: up to 4,085 lumens at 4000K
• 33W: up to 4,990 lumens at 4000K
• 39W: up to 5,825 lumens at 4000K
• 3000K: warm white light for comfortable indoor environments
• 4000K: neutral white light for general commercial and industrial use
• 5700K: daylight white for bright, task-focused spaces

IP66 and IK10 Protection

The Helix Shift is manufactured from robust, anti-corrosive polycarbonate and supplied with stainless steel retaining clips. Its IP66 rating provides protection against dust and powerful water jets, making it suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor installations.

An IK10 impact rating provides a high degree of resistance to mechanical impact. This makes the fitting suitable for exposed locations and busy working environments where standard battens may be vulnerable to damage.

Plug-and-Play Modular Design

The fitting can be upgraded using compatible Knightsbridge plug-and-play modules, allowing its function to be adapted without replacing the complete luminaire:

• MODMWS microwave sensor: adds automatic movement detection
• MODEMKIT2 emergency conversion kit: adds dual-mode emergency lighting functionality

Both modules are optional accessories and must be purchased separately.

Flexible Installation

Rear, side and end conduit entries support a variety of cable-routing arrangements. Pre-drilled rear and end entry points feature replaceable end caps, while detachable terminal blocks help provide easier access when bringing cables into the fitting.

The updated body design is compatible with BESA box mounting and includes large bracket fixing points to simplify positioning. Surface-mount plates are supplied as standard, while a compatible suspension kit is available separately.
