Knightsbridge EMEXITL LED Emergency Exit Sign

The Knightsbridge EMEXITL emergency exit sign provides illuminated escape-route identification during normal operation and following a mains power failure. Its dual-mount design allows the sign to be installed on a wall or ceiling, making it suitable for a wide range of commercial and communal interiors.

The sign is supplied with an upward-facing arrow legend and provides a maximum viewing distance of 20 metres. Alternative downward and left/right arrow legends are available separately for routes requiring a different directional indication.

Three-Hour Emergency Operation

An integrated lithium iron phosphate LiFePO4 battery provides at least three hours of illumination following a mains power failure. The sign delivers 48 lumens in emergency mode to help keep the exit legend visible during an evacuation.

The fitting can be configured for maintained or non-maintained operation:

• Maintained: the sign remains illuminated while mains power is available and continues operating from its battery during a power failure
• Non-maintained: the sign illuminates only when the normal mains supply fails

This model cannot be wired for switched-maintained operation.

Wall or Ceiling Mounting

A dedicated hanger and hinge system allows the fitting to be mounted directly onto a suitable wall or ceiling. This provides flexibility when positioning the exit sign above doors, along corridors and at changes in escape-route direction.

The slim white housing and clear sign panel provide a clean, unobtrusive appearance suited to modern commercial interiors.

Directional Legends

An upward-arrow legend is supplied as standard. Other compatible legend kits are available separately:

• EMEXITL2: upward-facing arrow legend kit
• EMEXITL3: downward-facing arrow legend kit
• EMEXITLR: left and right-facing arrow legend kit

The legend direction should be selected according to the building’s approved escape-route design.
