The Knightsbridge BTEVMWEM BT Evo LED bulkhead combines adjustable everyday lighting, automatic motion detection and three-hour emergency illumination in one robust fitting. Its flexible configuration makes it suitable for commercial, industrial, communal and outdoor lighting projects.

Select between 9W, 14W or 18W to adjust the brightness and choose a colour temperature of 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white or 5700K daylight white. At 4000K, the fitting delivers up to 930 lumens at 9W, 1,400 lumens at 14W or 1,750 lumens at 18W.

A fully adjustable microwave sensor automatically activates the light when movement is detected. The fitting also includes a slave live terminal, allowing compatible non-sensor luminaires to be powered and activated alongside it.

Three-Hour Emergency Lighting

An integrated lithium iron phosphate LiFePO4 battery provides up to three hours of emergency illumination following a mains power failure. The bulkhead produces 120 lumens in emergency mode and can be configured for maintained or non-maintained emergency operation.

In maintained mode, the luminaire operates during normal conditions and remains illuminated at its emergency output following a power failure. In non-maintained mode, the emergency light activates only when the mains supply is lost.

Adjustable Microwave Motion Sensor

The integrated microwave sensor can detect movement without requiring a direct line of sight. Its adjustable settings allow the response to be configured according to the installation, helping reduce unnecessary energy use in intermittently occupied areas.

This makes the bulkhead particularly suitable for corridors, stairwells, communal entrances, storerooms, utility areas, external walkways and other locations where lighting is required automatically when someone approaches.

Robust Indoor and Outdoor Construction

The bulkhead’s IP65 rating provides protection against dust and water jets, while its IK10 impact rating makes it suitable for demanding and high-traffic environments. A UV-stabilised polycarbonate body and diffuser help resist deterioration and discolouration during prolonged outdoor use.

The standard fitting is supplied in white with an opal diffuser and matching clip-on bezel. Alternative decorative bezels, including matt black, chrome and eyelid styles, are available separately.

Designed for Straightforward Installation

Push-fit terminals with loop-in, loop-out capability simplify circuit wiring. The hinged gear tray provides convenient access to internal components, while the twist-lock diffuser and clip-on bezel allow the fitting to be assembled and maintained more easily.

Four 20mm side conduit entry points and rear BESA mounting points provide flexibility for surface and rear cable entry.
