The Knightsbridge BTEVEM BT Evo emergency LED bulkhead combines selectable wattage, adjustable colour temperature and three-hour emergency lighting in one robust surface-mounted fitting. Its flexible specification makes it suitable for commercial, industrial, communal and outdoor lighting projects.

Select between 9W, 14W or 18W to achieve the required brightness. The colour temperature can also be changed between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 5700K daylight white, allowing one fitting to meet a wide range of project requirements.

At 4000K, the bulkhead produces 930 lumens at 9W, 1,400 lumens at 14W or up to 1,750 lumens at 18W. Its wide 120° beam and opal diffuser provide broad, evenly distributed illumination.

Three-Hour Emergency Lighting

An integrated lithium iron phosphate LiFePO4 battery provides up to three hours of emergency illumination following a mains power failure. The fitting delivers 120 lumens in emergency mode to help maintain visibility along escape routes, corridors, stairwells and communal areas.

The bulkhead supports maintained, non-maintained and switched emergency configurations:

• Maintained: operates as a normal light and continues at its emergency output when the mains supply fails
• Non-maintained: remains off during normal conditions and activates following a power failure
• Switched maintained: allows its normal output to be switched while retaining the emergency function

Selectable Wattage and Colour Temperature

The adjustable settings allow the installer to configure the fitting for different areas without specifying separate bulkhead models:

• 9W: up to 930 lumens at 4000K
• 14W: up to 1,400 lumens at 4000K
• 18W: up to 1,750 lumens at 4000K
• 3000K: warm white light for comfortable interiors
• 4000K: neutral white light for general commercial use
• 5700K: daylight white for bright, functional environments

IP65 and IK10 Construction

The IP65 rating protects the fitting against dust and water jets, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor installation. An IK10 impact rating provides a high level of resistance to mechanical impact in exposed or high-traffic locations.

The anti-corrosive, UV-stabilised polycarbonate body and diffuser are designed to withstand prolonged outdoor use while helping resist discolouration and deterioration.

Designed for Straightforward Installation

Push-fit terminals with loop-in, loop-out capability help simplify circuit wiring. A hinged gear tray provides convenient access to internal components, while the twist-lock diffuser and clip-on bezel make assembly and maintenance straightforward.

Four 20mm side conduit entry points and rear BESA mounting points provide flexibility for different wiring and mounting arrangements.
