The Knightsbridge BT14ACTS LED bulkhead combines efficient 14W illumination with an adjustable microwave movement sensor. Suitable for wall or ceiling mounting, it provides automatic lighting for entrances, corridors, stairwells and other intermittently occupied areas.

The integrated LED produces up to 1,260 lumens, while a built-in CCT switch allows the colour temperature to be changed between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 5700K daylight white.

Its IP65 polycarbonate construction makes the fitting suitable for correctly installed indoor and outdoor applications.

Adjustable Microwave Motion Sensor

The integrated microwave sensor detects movement and activates the light automatically. Unlike a conventional PIR sensor, microwave detection does not depend on changes in body heat and does not always require a direct line of sight.

The sensor provides adjustable settings for:

• Detection range: controls the area over which movement is detected
• Hold time: determines how long the light remains illuminated after movement stops
• Lux level: sets the ambient light level at which the sensor becomes active

These adjustments allow operation to be tailored to the location, helping reduce unnecessary energy use when an area is unoccupied or sufficient natural light is available.

Slave Live Output

A built-in slave live terminal allows additional compatible non-sensor luminaires to be controlled alongside the BT14ACTS. When its microwave sensor detects movement, the connected slave fittings can illuminate at the same time.

This is useful in longer corridors, larger communal spaces or installations where several lights need to operate from one sensor.

Three Selectable Colour Temperatures

• 3000K warm white: 1,130 lumens for comfortable domestic and hospitality interiors
• 4000K neutral white: 1,260 lumens for corridors, entrances and general commercial lighting
• 5700K daylight white: 1,210 lumens for bright, functional environments

Colour selection during installation allows the same bulkhead to suit a broad range of applications and reduces the need to stock separate warm white, neutral white and daylight models.

IP65 Indoor and Outdoor Lighting

The robust polycarbonate housing has an IP65 rating, providing protection against dust and water jets. This makes the bulkhead suitable for indoor and outdoor locations such as:

Designed for Easier Installation

A hinged LED gear tray provides convenient access to the internal wiring area. The push-fit fast-fix terminal block helps simplify electrical connections, while the low-profile body provides a neat finish on walls and ceilings.

Compatible decorative bezels and eyelid accessories are available separately, allowing the appearance and light distribution to be adapted to the installation.
